Helping the needy…

Alright, we’re all facing tough economic times right now. Nobody that I know is a millionaire or set for life, so we’re all just doing the best we can. Some of us have planned and saved and are doing okay for now, some of us haven’t planned or saved and aren’t doing so good right [...]

New goals…

Testing went great this past week for Bootcamp! I didn’t lose more than a couple of pounds (I’ve not been eating the greatest lately anyway so it’s my own fault!) but I lost two inches off my waist and an inch everywhere else! I improved everywhere we tested too (last month/this month):

Chance encounter…

Ran into some old friends (acquaintences actually) from Jazzercise today. I was at Aldi doing a little shopping and ran right into them! Anyway, they both remarked immediately that I had lost weight and was looking good! I looked like crap by the way, not bothering to style my hair or put makeup on after [...]

No news…

Saw the Dr today, gave her my online research and brought my books to back it up. Trying something new…

We have the benefit of having, as a part of our group, a dietician/nutritionist who obviously knows more about what is healthy than we do. It was definitely a beneficial trip as I learned some things I didn’t know and [...]

Ugh, shoot us already…

…and put us out of our misery!!! Or better yet, give us their names so we can hunt them down like the criminals they are and take back what they’ve taken from us!!!  Just read a headline on Yahoo News: “Days after bailout, AIG execs spend $443,000 at spa resort” (see it here: http://www.yahoo.com/s/967215)
Are you [...]
